    The ancient parish comprised the townships of Treflach, Mostyn & Hendreunig, Llansannan, Rhydeidon, Beidiog, Penaled (or Pennant Aled), Llysaled, Archwedlog, Chwibren, Hescin, Deunant, Arllwyd, and Grugor..
